HISTORY
GERS DISTRIBUTION is a family company whose head office has been located in NOGARO, in the GERS (South of France) for almost 25 years.
Our family spirit, our sense of work well done and our attachment to our territory the Gers make our company a major player in the "Palmipède à foie gras" sector.
Our field of competence as a food producer-distributor has since expanded to include poultry and meat to meet the demands of our customers.
We have been able to evolve with the expectations of our customers, and today, our company is recognized for its transparency, quality and choice of products.
1996 Created in September, GERS DISTRIBUTION starts with a sales agent activity.
1998 Evolution towards the activity of wholesale distributor in the fresh products sector and particularly in the range of fat and lean ducks.
2004 Creation of the "grocery" activity with the sale of canned products and gift boxes.
2012 Closeness and alliance with the FLEURONS de SAMATAN (VIVADOUR), in order to create a chain integrating production, slaughtering, processing and marketing of ducks with foie gras certificated IGP Sud-Ouest, Gers and ducks with foie gras certificated LABEL ROUGE.
2013 Construction of a 4000m² conditioning workshop: preparation and dispatch of orders from NOGARO.
2016 Launch of the Butcher's Meat activity
2018 Enlargement of the factory on the fresh products processing part from 600m² to 3000m².

2019 IFS approach.
2021 Construction of a 4000m² dry storage building with photovoltaic panels.
Relocation of the store Autres Foies with creation of a restaurant.

Our sectors in the Gers
CANARD GRAS
From our partnership signed with VIVADOUR was born the development of sales in fresh products "Canard du Gers".
Today, our company has gone from being a distributor to being a producer. This grouping and its investments allow us today to control the whole sector: Hatchery, food factory, fattening, slaughtering, processing, conditionning, packaging and marketing.
We particularly believe in the image of the Gers region, in this identity of authenticity and quality, while highlighting the know-how of our ancestors.
Gers Distribution wishes to contribute to the maintenance of a local agriculture, on a human scale, which remunerates the breeders and producers decently.

MEAT
Over the past seven years, we've entered the beef market by marketing beef, veal, lamb and pork muscles and carcasses.
In 2023, we will be launching an ankle business based at the Auch abattoir, in partnership with livestock farmers in the South-West of France. The Gers in particular.
We make it a point of honor to offer high-quality, emblematic breeds, reflecting the traditional know-how of our department's breeders.

MIEL
Au Printemps 2023, nous signons un partenariat pour distribuer le miel de la filière d’apiculture de Vivadour.
Ce miel récolté sur les parcelles de nos agriculteurs gersois. Et transformé dans le département. L’objectif premier de cette nouvelle filières : préserver la Biodiversité.

POULET
Nous proposons une gamme de poulet fermier locaux du Gers. Les poulets sont élevés dans le respect de la tradition, en plein air.
Les volailles sont alimentées avec 100% de végétaux, minéraux et vitamines, dont 80% de céréales.
