It is with great pleasure that we participated in the FOOD EXPERIENCE ITALY trade show, in Milan, on March 20, 2023, organized by Business France Italy.

This gourmet B to B event allowed us to meet Italian distributors of the HORECA premium sector and "high-end" RETAIL operators. It is the first event organized in Italy under the aegis of the Taste France movement, this event is a showcase for French local products, for regional specialties, and for French excellence that contribute to the international reputation of gastronomy and cuisine "Made in France".

On Sunday we were able to set up our stand (see image opposite) in the "Espace Feelingfood Milano" which regularly hosts prestigious personalities such as Michelin-starred Chef Felice Lo Basso, Chef Elio Sironi and Master Pastry Chef Ernst Knam. The space is perfect for B to B meetings with a dedicated room isolated from the kitchen where the recipes have been deliciously prepared.

The morning of the show was dedicated to meetings with local Italian operators (Premium Horeca and delicatessen sector). The organizers scheduled four qualified meetings with prospects interested in our products. This was an opportunity for us to present our different ranges of foie gras, poultry and grocery products during 45 minutes with each of them.

The lunch was animated by a show-cooking realized by an Italian chef Roberto De Pinto, who knew how to honor the dozens of selected French companies, either by using typical French dishes, or by using the "French Touch" in Italian recipes.

The chef proposed a well-stocked buffet, of which four dishes were cooked with our products:

  • Duck leg tartar with mustard and sea urchin ice cream (see picture)

  • Pan-fried duck breast with lentils and prune and blackberry sauce (see picture)

  • Fresh pasta and shredded duck with sponge cake (see picture)

  • Sea bass foie gras, balsamic vinegar and fig compote (see image opposite)

We closed the afternoon by visiting the Italian outlets: La Rinascente, Peck and Signorvino.

The event was covered by FOOD magazine, the magazine par excellence for operators in the sector in Italy.

We would like to thank the team of Business France Italy for the organization of this event which allowed us to meet quality prospects and taste delicious recipes.
